St Stephen's House

St Stephen’s House is an Anglican theological College, and one of five Permanent Private Halls in the University of Oxford. As well as training candidates for the priesthood in the catholic tradition of the Church of England, its students include graduates working in a variety of other areas of study, including theology, education, oriental studies and philosophy.

The 1876 Society is a society of alumni, friends and supporters of St Stephen’s House, Oxford, the aim of which is to provide a community of stewardship to help support the future of the College.

Support the fantastic progress that has been made in recent years which has seen the College Church transformed for use as one of Oxford’s most exciting music and arts venues alongside its primary role in College worship.

St Stephen's House - SJE Church Organ and Bodley Case Restoration Fund

Your gift will be directed towards restoring and refurbishing this beautiful baroque-style organ housed in the rare and historic organ case designed by the renowned architect G. F. Bodley, sited in the College Church of St John the Evangelist.
