St John's College
Founded in 1555 by Sir Thomas, a London cloth merchant, and the Lady White, St John's occupies extensive grounds in the heart of Oxford, with award-winning architecture and some of the most beautiful gardens in the city. Academically one of Oxford's most successful colleges, St John’s attracts students from a wide range of backgrounds and enjoys a lively, stimulating and supportive atmosphere. Charitable gifts from alumni and friends enhance our efforts to ensure no student is deterred from applying, nor undergoes excessive financial hardship whilst at College.
