With more than 500 graduate students from over 50 countries, the college has an international profile. St Cross College Student Hardship Fund The Student Hardship fund is used to support students who come across unexpected financial problems during the course of their studies. St Cross College Travel and Research Fund Your gift will support current students by providing bursaries to assist them to travel and undertake work connected to their academic studies. St Cross College Lorna Casselton Memorial Established in memory of former Fellow Lorna Casselton, gifts to this fund support an annual lecture and a scholarship for students studying Plant Sciences. St Cross College Thembisa Hope Scholarship Founded by St Cross College Member of Common Room, Tonia Cope Bowley & Stephen Bowley, gifts to this fund will provide support to a students studying for a Master’s-level degree who is ordinarily resident in southern Africa. St Cross College Jan-Georg Deutsch Memorial Fund Established in memory of former Fellow Jan-Georg Deutsch, gifts to this fund support students studying African history or global history from an African perspective. St Cross College Duncan Lowne Scholarship Fund Duncan Lowne was a DPhil student who, in 2007, died in his second year as a result of a brain tumour. The scholarship set up in his name is intended to support graduate students in Engineering or Materials experiencing financial difficulties.
