Oxford University Volleyball Club
2021 Campaign
As Oxford University Volleyball Club (OUVC) approaches its 50th anniversary the Club is excited to launch the 2021 Campaign with the objective of securing volleyball at Oxford in perpetuity. All funds raised will go directly towards training and coaching all six teams and ensuring that the Club remains one of the leading university sports clubs in the country and beyond.
First established in the spring of 1971 to play Varsity against Cambridge, OUVC has since become one of the University’s most inclusive and successful sports clubs. Both Men’s and Women’s Blues Teams are in the Premier Division of the British Universities and Colleges Sports’ League and the Women’s NVL team is in the country’s Super 8 League – the highest division in the UK.
Building on its success, the Club aims to raise in the first instance £250,000 to ensure that the teams have sufficient coaching and court-time to improve their standing across the country and fly the University’s flag high. The Club also aims to ensure that no student is prevented from joining OUVC because of their financial circumstances.
Donors who commit £19.71 per month for a year will be listed as Benefactors on the Club’s website and Facebook Page and receive a complimentary OUVC team shirt. Those who commit £1,971 per annum will be listed as Patrons and will also be invited to attend the Club’s annual reception in Oxford with the OUVC President and current and former players.
Thank you, in advance, for your support.
