Oxford University Netball Club
OUNC is the university's largest all-female sports club as well as one of the university's most consistently successful sports clubs. We are unique as being one of the only large sports clubs managed entirely by a committee of women.
OUNC consists of three teams, the Blues (1sts), Roos (2nds) and Emus (3rds), all of whom play in weekly BUCS matches as well as the annual varsity match. Our Blues team currently compete in the highest tier in the Midlands division, and we consistently have great success at varsity. Netball is the UK's largest women's sports with over 300,000 adults playing regularly, as well as being the largest women's sports in the BUCS competition.
As a club, we aim to promote high-level women's performance sport, with the only barrier to entry being skill, and not financial circumstance. With your help, we can subsidise the cost of coaching and kit as much as possible.
Here are some ways in which your donation can make a difference:
- £20 will pay for a new match ball
- £25 will pay for an hour of coaching/ a match umpire
- £50 will pay for a netball dress for a team member
- £100 will cover to cost of a season's subs for a team member
- £1000 would subsidise our varsity costs for the whole club
Your support will help us on our mission to keep netball a high-level yet financially accessible sport at Oxford University. Thank you.
