Gymnastics Club

Oxford University Gymnastics Club is an inclusive and welcoming club for people of all backgrounds, abilities and disciplines. Our aim is to provide a safe, friendly environment for members to feel all the benefits the sport has to offer. Gymnastics is becoming increasingly popular and we'd like to encourage as many people as possible to enjoy it alongside their studies.

There are opportunities for all of our members to participate in competitions throughout the year, regardless of their ability, the highlights being Varsity, BUCS and Cuppers. Although we do have some of our own equipment at Iffley Sports Centre, we have to travel to a fully kitted-out club outside Oxford twice a week to train on full apparatus, which is essential for the success of our more experienced gymnasts, and for beginners to develop their skill-set.

It's of paramount importance to maintain the safety of our equipment at Iffley, offer a high standard of coaching and continue to use the fantastic facilities at Abingdon Gymnastics Club. All of our money goes back into improving the service we provide as a club and to our members. We would be very grateful for any support you could give us:

• £10 covers the cost of a competition entry for one gymnast
• £30 can pay our coach for a session
• £45 will pay for a student's membership for one term
• £100 pays for affiliation to the national governing body, which we need for insurance purposes
• £800 covers our facility hire for a term
